** Campground Rules – Please Read **
These rules are meant for everyone's safety and to keep things in perspective as a business. Most of our rules are just common sense but we still have to post them. Even though we cannot police the campground 24/7 we will assume everyone will abide by the rules set in place. If we receive a complaint about someone breaking the rules or we see you we will tell you about it.
Drive slowly and carefully – Speed Limit 10 mph. In campground. Please watch for children. Please do not put rugs or mats on grass.
Dogs – We love dogs but you must follow these rules. Only 3 dogs are permitted to come camping per site. Must keep them on a leash and in your control at all times even at your site. Invisible fences Not Allowed. No dogs in any buildings or pool area. Clean up their messes and dispose of properly. Do Not allow your dog to become an annoyance to others. (Ex. Barking). Do Not let your children walk your dog if they are not going to clean up after them. Do Not leave your pet outside your camper without someone being with them and Do Not leave them in camper and leave your site if they are going to bark the whole time you are gone.
Visitors – Anyone entering campground without a reservation. Must stop at office to register and pay fee upon arrival. If you are inviting them it is your responsibility to tell them ahead of time so they are
prepared upon arrival.
Day visitors – Adults 18 – 64 yrs. $4.00 / Overnight $8.00
Child – 4 – 17 yrs. $3.00 / Overnight $6.00
Seniors - 65 yrs + $2.00 / Overnight $4.00 / 3 yrs & under Free
Fees include all activities and amenities at the park. Parking is limited. Be aware that your visitors may have to park in the overflow parking area across from the pavilion and walk to the site. Most sites can have only 1 car for safety reasons. Please ask your visitors to leave their pets at home. All day visitors must leave by 10:00 pm. Anyone on property that is not registered is considered trespassing and will be asked to leave immediately.
Quiet Time – Please observe quiet hours of 10:00 pm - 8:00 am. By 10:00 pm all children should be at their site, all radios and Tv's should be turned down or off. No corn hole playing. Please respect your neighbors.
Water Usage – No washing of campers, vehicles, etc… PLEASE do not let water hoses leak. If they leak fix them. Pay close attention to your toilet and any water leaks in your camper. This will cause our water tanks to run empty overnight if not caught. (We are on a well system).
Septic System – Chemicals must be used in your holding tanks to prevent clogging of your system and ours and to prevent odor. (available in store). They are non -toxic and actually break down waste and aids in preventing clogged lines. Keep both gray and black sewer valves closed at all times except when dumping. This will give the chemicals time to work and break down the solids. The sewer system needs a large quantity of fluid in order to work properly. Please Do Not put any foreign objects in the septic system (flush able wipes, paper towels, cleaning rags, feminine products, etc....).
Use septic safe toilet paper only. A sewer seal must be used to prevent odor. (available in store).
Campfires – In fire rings only. Do not burn garbage in your fire ring. Extinguish fire before leaving campsite. Do not move fire ring.
Golf carts are for Seasonal Camping Use Only.
Garbage – Do not leave trash or food sitting outside at your campsite. Please help us keep campground litter free at all times. Do not throw cigarette butts on ground. Place garbage in dumpster as needed.
No Electronic Equipment or furniture, etc.... permitted in dumpster. Regular household trash only.
Firewood – Cutting of trees is not permitted. You may pick up any dead branches on ground. Do not nail into or damage any trees or shrubs. Firewood can be purchased at camp office/store.
Children - Parents: you are responsible for your children at all times while here on the campground. Please watch them.
Wi–Fi - is a free amenity. You do not need a password. The band width from each hotspot is acceptable to check emails, face book, and searching for items, etc...
It is not meant to be used for playing video games and streaming videos.
Alcoholic Beverages – Keep at your site and drink responsibly. Loud obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave with no refund.
Must be 21 yrs. Or older to consume alcohol on our property.
Motorized Toys - No motorized recreational vehicles (4 wheeler, trikes, scooters, etc...) are allowed to be operated in campground. Must be kept on trailer.
Bicycles - PA. State law requires all children under 12 years of age must wear helmet. No riding after dark. Please talk with your children about bike riding in the campground and to also watch out for vehicles and obey the speed limit.
Battery operated riding toys are permitted But parents must be by there side at all times.
Pool - Hours are 12 noon – 8:00 pm.(exceptions may be made at times) No lifeguard on duty.
Swim at your own risk. Pool rules are posted at pool area. Please follow them.
Children 12 yrs. of age and under are not permitted in pool area without parent/guardian (18 yrs & older).
Creek – Water activities in the creek is at your own risk.
Firearms – Not permitted on premise except for regular hunting season.
Fireworks - Not permitted .
CAMPSITES - Check In: Between – 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm Check Out: – 1:00 pm.
Early check in or late departures are subject to $2.00 per hr. and will depend upon reservations pending.
CABINS - Check In: Between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm Check Out: 11:00 am
Early check in or late departures are subject to $5.00 per hr. and will depend upon reservations pending
No refunds for early departure for any reason.
Release of Liability:
This Campground is privately owned. All persons accept the camping privileges with the understanding that he/she does hereby release, hold harmless and indemnify Whispering Winds Campground, its owners, and employees of any and all liability for loss or damage to property and/or injury to his/her person or any member of the family or registered guest arising out of use of this camping facility.
Whispering Winds Campground will not be responsible for electrical outages, damages from storms, floods, falling trees or from wildlife. You will be responsible for any damage to campground property as a result of your actions or neglect.
Disregard of campground rules, causing dissension among other campers, or conduct deemed improper by management will be cause for eviction without notice or refund.
